Thanks to everyone who came out to see our recent shows. Special thanks to those that bought a tape or record. Special Special thanks to those that dealt with logistics, set up shows, let us sleep on couches and floors, etc.. your help is unbelievably appreciated by us. Hopscotch was a definite highlight, and the festival itself was by all measures a tremendous success. Here is a video of us performing An Iris and Reservoirs at the Pour House, the first day of the fest. More everything soon.
Note: Tapes are getting down there, so if you’d like one, we’d recommend contacting hometapes soon and requesting one so you don’t miss out. Thanks!

We in All Tiny Creatures create a lot of music, but don’t have the means or desire to officially release it all. With the Online Release Series we hope to let those who are interested in on stuff that might not otherwise make it onto a physical release, but that we still think makes an interesting listen. Our second installment is: All Tiny Creatures Solo/Live, featuring live solo performances from Thomas Wincek and Andrew Fitzpatrick.

Solo Performance for Self-Amplified Acoustic Guitar and Computer

This performance was done by Thomas Wincek on an Acoustic Guitar wired up with specific drivers that allow it to be self-amplified. This means that all of the sound, including the vocal clips and live effects processing are coming through the guitar, with no amplifier. There is no prerecorded music or sounds in this performance, the only exception being the vocal clips which feature stories told by people from the Wisconsin area, mostly about the rural way of life and the music they love. Like the computer effects processing, these are triggered and manipulated at various times throughout the set by Wincek, using a variety of control devices hooked up to the computer.

This performance was done by Andrew Fitzpatrick using an electric guitar, tapes, a looping device, and various analog and digital effects processors.
Both performances recorded live at The Project Lodge in Madison, Wisconsin with a Zoom H4 handheld recorder.
